Since hubby was home recovering from surgery, I didn't blog at all. It was a lovely time, once the first few days of recovery were behind him. Thank you for all the prayers!
Stuff is gonna get busy around here soon... my parents will be visiting the first weekend in September. We're starting school Sept 5th, or at least some day that first full week of September. And then the last week of Sept, my inlaws will be here for a week.

I have a degree in education, but left teaching to be a stay-at-home with my oldest child way back when. I now have the great privilege of teaching my own children. What fun! I love to laugh and read. I love polka dots and sleeping in. I don't want to be a Sunday-only Christian. I want to be authentic and intentional. I'm spontaneous but also a planner... odd mix, there. I love having an organizational system... but keeping it that way is another story. And the only reason I have a kitchen is because the house came with one. That and because my minions would prefer to eat.
